Let's pick a sketchbook at random and flip through it to see what's inside.

Hi, friends! I’m stepping outside my comfort zone with this one for a number of reasons. First, I filmed myself talking about my drawings, which is always a dodgy nightmare and generally can’t stand to watch or hear myself on tape. For that reason, I haven’t bothered to watch it before posting as I might just collapse into myself like a dying star, so I hope it all makes sense and I’m not fully incoherent. But I’ll let you be the judge. Second, I find talking about my drawings somewhat difficult as my feelings on my own work shift by the minute and am allergic to coming across like I am taking this - and myself, especially - too seriously. Often times I feel like I enter some sort of fugue state when drawing these, so it’s hard to speak about them in any great detail. But hey I’m willing to try anything.

Anyways, I thought it might be fun to take out a sketchbook at random and flip through it with you, sharing backstory, thoughts, etc. on whatever toons are inside. Like I said, I haven’t watched this yet, so my apologies if the sound is off or I’m sitting too far away or something. I’ll make sure to make improvements next time, if this is something people seem interested in.
